Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada considered the Srimad Bhagavatam his life&amp;rsquo;s work. This ancient Vedic text presents Krishna&amp;rsquo;s pastimes, Vaishnava philosophy, and detailed cosmological and metaphysical teachings. Prabhupada began translating it shortly after arriving in America and continued until weeks before his death in 1977.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
